THE BODY - FIT FOR DUTY

My last blog, I spoke on mindset, how I believe it is only half the battle, whether it is on a literal battlefield or in the boardroom. Today I am going to hit on the other side of that coin, YOUR BODY. More specifically being "Fit for Duty" by combining your MINDSET and BODY.

Now...what is your "DUTY"? What is the standard of being "FIT" for your specific duty? Is it a personal standard or institutional?

For our military and LEO's out there, your duty is quite clear and more law enforcement agencies are beginning to hold physical fitness standards. But for my brothers and sisters in green and blue do not settle for the standard. Push your limits and in that moment of truth when you are fighting for your life or your partners life on the street, you will know what to do and know your capabilities. Leave no doubt. No "Did I do enough?" or what ifs. Push yourself NOW physically and mentally, because you do not know when the fight is coming.

For the civilian Joes out there or retired warrior or sheepdog, where there is no professional guidance or standard, what is your "duty" or "mission"?

Your family? To provide and protect you legacy in your children or even small business?

This is easy to achieve when you keep your mind AND body sharp. Keep the balance, you can always get better.
